Dr. Kayla Mullins leads our practice with a warm, patient-first approach, combining modern training with a gentle touch to help individuals and families throughout Virginia Beach feel at ease in the dental chair. We’re proud to introduce the doctor who makes that experience possible.

Meet Dr. Kayla Mullins

Dr. Mullins was born and raised in Radford, VA, and knew in high school she wanted to be a general dentist, helping those of all ages improve and maintain their oral health. She went on to Roanoke College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Honors. She continued on to West Virginia University School of Dentistry to become a dentist. Dr. Mullins practiced in her hometown until she and her husband decided they didn't want to wait until retirement to live in Virginia Beach!

Dr. Mullins loves making patients feel more comfortable coming to the dentist. Along with the experience of running a dental office, Dr. Mullins has expanded her skill set, becoming certified to administer therapeutic Botox through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and will soon be a certified Invisalign provider.

In her spare time, Dr. Mullins and her husband enjoy exploring the many wonderful activities Virginia Beach has to offer - especially days sitting on Chic's Beach reading a good book.

Meet Dr. Banks

Dr. Banks is thrilled to join the team at Green Meadows Dentistry and to be returning home to the Virginia Beach community. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Old Dominion University in 2019 and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2024.

During her training, Dr. Banks gained valuable experience working at the Veterans Affairs Hospital as well as in private practice in Richmond, Virginia. These experiences shaped her commitment to providing thoughtful, high-quality care tailored to each individual patient.

Dr. Banks believes the foundation of great dentistry is built on strong patient-doctor relationships. Her philosophy centers on delivering the highest quality dental care while empowering patients through education, helping them feel confident and informed about their oral health. Her favorite part of dentistry is connecting with patients and guiding them toward lifelong healthy smiles.

She is passionate about giving back to the community and has participated in Mission of Mercy (MoM) dental projects across the state. Dr. Banks is also actively involved with the Virginia Dental Association, attending annual meetings and Lobby Days, and is committed to continuing education to continually expand her clinical knowledge and skills.

Outside of the office, Dr. Banks enjoys reading, listening to true crime podcasts, practicing hot yoga, spending time at the beach, and caring for her dog, Pepper, and her six-year-old pet rabbit, Cleo.
